policies

By booking an appointment with me you agree to the following policies, terms and conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you need to cancel or change your appointment, please notify me no less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Appointment times have been arranged specifically for each client. If you arrive late for your session, it will be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for the cost of the full session.
If an appointment is canceled less than 48 hours or is considered a no-show, the client will be subject to a fee equal to the cost of the missed appointment. If the appointment was booked under a Gift Certificate or Massage Package, the certificate/session from the package will be voided in lieu of the fee. Full payment must be paid prior to scheduling any future massage therapy sessions.

*Excessive cancellations and/or rescheduling appointments (3 per household, within a 3 month period) will result in denial of advanced appointment scheduling and/or future massage therapy sessions at the discretion of the massage therapist. All Massage Packages are non-refundable and non-transferrable and any remaining sessions will be forfeited due to excessive cancellations. No exceptions.

I value and respect your time and appreciate your cooperation and compliance.

HEALTH IS WEALTH

Your health is top priority. I look forward to seeing each and every client, but not when they’re sick. Please reschedule your appointment immediately if you have tested positive for Covid-19, if you are under the weather due to the flu, begin to feel a flu coming on, or are at the tail-end of a flu.
If I arrive at your home and you are sick, you will be denied massage services and charged the full amount of that day’s session.

If you have undergone or are about to undergo surgery, please let me know in advance to any future appointment you have scheduled. Massage may not be recommended until certain time has passed. Approval from both your physician and myself will be required prior to scheduling any future massage sessions. The same situation applies if you have any inflamed/rash areas or open wounds. I will not be able to work on or around these areas because it is out of the scope of my practice. If I arrive at your home and am unable to provide massage therapy due to any of the above contraindicated areas on your body, you may be denied massage services and will still be charged the full amount of that day's session.

Thank you for your understanding.

APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

I pride myself in my professionalism and expect my clients to behave in a professional manner as well. I provide massage therapy services for therapeutic purposes only. Any inappropriate requests or verbal abuse will not be tolerated. I have been practicing massage for over a decade and have taken numerous continuing education courses to advance myself in my career, which I take seriously and have great pride in. For those who are looking for a professional, well-educated and ethical massage therapist – you’ve come to the right place!

CLIENT CONFIDENTIALITY

Information gathered during your massage session is strictly confidential. Questions regarding your health may be asked during these sessions merely to accurately gauge levels of stress, extent of injuries, or personal goals in the treatment.

SCOPE OF PRACTICE

Anything discussed or exchanged during your session is not meant to diagnose or cure disease. Massage therapy services are not meant to replace traditional medical and psychiatric treatments but work as a compliment to them. We are trying to achieve wholeness by looking at healing from a different perspective. If you have a medical or psychiatric emergency, please consult a physician or mental health professional.
